I posted this picture before (on Mother's Day), but this is where it came from. See that front door? You can see that there's a storm door with a glass panel behind it. Once, carrying Davey in the car seat in front of me on our way to the car, I walked right into that panel as if it weren't there, shattering glass violently in all directions. Good thing he was in a car seat. (Yes, some of us used car seats even then.)

Back in Miami, and now I have access to the 6,000 old family pictures again.

The left-most child below is my cousin Verne (Cousin #17/Ray's #2), who I've somehow missed in all these pictures. Just two more of my 19 first cousins to go! To the right of him are his sister Marci, and Ilene and Larry in front of Betty and George.

Probably Colonie, NY, around 1979 (we went to seders at Sam & Sue's for many years when our kids were young). A couple of years ago, at the Bas Mitzvahs of my cousins Lauren and Lizzie, I was assigned to hold the Torah scrolls. Ours kids tried to grab a photo of this, claiming they were going to blackmail me with it. This is the only way to deal with blackmail!

In back: Mike Rudahl, Judy Justin, Evelyn Ruhdahl, Sue Fisher (my mother), Sue Fisher (my aunt), George, me. Ilene is 1st cousin #1 (Cousin #1/Betty's #2). I'll see how many of my 19 1st cousins (!) I have pictures of.
