Grand Canyon, Part 1 (Grand Canyon, AZ, August 1993)

At the end of our last summer in Palo Alto, we decided to rent a car and drive along Route 66 and the Santa Fe Trail for two weeks. We stayed in, or touristed in, Barstow, CA; the Grand Canyon; Gallup, NM; Cochiti Lake, NM (where we stayed with Elizabeth's step-mother Kaye); Dodge City, CO; and Wichita, KS (where we spent the weekend with Elizabeth's mother). We then flew back to Boston from Wichita.

In the Grand Canyon, we stayed in a cabin at Bright Angel Lodge, and did lots of the great tourist things.
